In A Pickle


The Easiest Dill Pickle Recipe Ever

3 Quarts cold water
1 cup pickling salt
1 quart vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar

*1 quart= 5 cups
Mix and boil ingredients together for the brine in a large pot for 5 minutes.
Fill sterilized jars with 2-3 garlic heads, 1 stalk dill and cleaned baby cucumbers
Cover with hot brine and seal in a hot water bath for 15 minutes
Let cool and place on shelf for like a month before enjoying

That is all- like I said easiest pickle recipe ever!

  1. I am making dill pickles today! I'm using my mom's recipe. It looks very similiar to yours!

    1. I think it's the easiest recipe I ever have made! Not sure why I was so intimidated by pickling before!

  2. I made a bunch of dills earlier this year, but my recipe has a bit of sugar in them so they're sweet and sour. I'm shocked at how much stuff I put up this year. Now the challenge is to get through it all before next year!
